Tonight I got the wonderful opportunity to photograph the birthday of a good friend of mine. It was "hipster" themed so everyone dressed up and had a blast! For those of you who may not know, urban dictionary defines hipster as, "...a subculture of men and women typically in their 20's and 30's that value independent thinking, counter-culture, progressive politics, an appreciation of art and indie-rock, creativity, intelligence, and witty banter...ipsters reject the culturally-ignorant attitudes of mainstream consumers, and are often be seen wearing vintage and thrift store inspired fashions, tight-fitting jeans, old-school sneakers, and sometimes thick rimmed glasses." All in all the party was a lot of fun and I had a wonderful time taking pictures of such wonderful people. Happy Birthday to my dear friend.
